We use Computational Fluid Dynamics to replicate every aspect of a supermarket fridge down to the minutest detail, and then interrogate the airflow and temperature characteristics throughout. For example, our CFD models demonstrate how Aerofoils quickly stop warm air ingress and cold air spill when a fridge door is opened.
Energy reduction is not the only story.
Our technology lowers and stabilises product temperatures throughout the refrigeration cabinet, eradicating hot-spots. This has a marked beneficial effect on food quality and shelf-life. Shoppers also enjoy a more comfortable environment due to the virtual elimination of cold air spill from the fridge, increasing their browsing and purchasing time in the aisles.
